We are now looking for an experienced Document Control Lead for a large industrial project with high demands for quality, traceability, and structure in technical document management. This role is ideal for you if you have extensive experience in document control within complex energy, industrial, or infrastructure projects and wish to take overall responsibility for the project's document management throughout its lifecycle.

About the Assignment

You will be responsible for leading, developing, and ensuring the quality of the project's technical document management, from creation and review to approval, version control, and final handover. The role has a clear focus on structure, compliance, and efficient coordination between various disciplines, suppliers, and project stakeholders.

You will work closely with the Digitalization Manager, Information Coordination, Engineering, and the project's various work packages, becoming the project's primary contact person for document control and management issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the creation, review, and approval of technical documentation
• Ensure that documentation meets the project's requirements, standards, and specifications
• Coordinate document deliveries with suppliers, project engineering teams, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Develop, implement, and maintain procedures and processes for document control
• Review technical documentation regarding quality, completeness, traceability, and compliance
• Ensure structured version control and proper archiving of project documentation
• Integrate document management into project workflows and create efficient collaboration between disciplines and suppliers
• Monitor document status, revisions, approvals, and distribution
• Provide support and guidance to the project organization regarding document management and working methods
• Be responsible for document databases, registers, and logs, ensuring information is up-to-date
• Participate in cross-functional project meetings and relevant work meetings

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 7 years of experience in document control and technical document management in large industrial, energy, or infrastructure projects
• Documented experience in final document handover in at least one complex, large-scale project
• Very good knowledge of technical documentation processes, version control, and document control
• Experience with EDMS and CDE systems, such as Aconex or similar systems
• Good understanding of technical documentation standards, document lifecycles, and regulatory requirements
• Experience in digital document management and modern digital archiving solutions
• University degree, university college degree, or equivalent in technical documentation, industrial engineering, civil engineering, or another relevant field
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Digital Twin-based document handovers
• Experience from international EPC projects
• Knowledge of Italian, French, or other languages
